DR FOX SPECIALISES IN:

Liposuction

• Trained by three of the American pioneers in liposuction surgery, Dr Fox is now the longest practicing practitioner of liposuction in Australia with an impeccable record for more than 20 years.
• An increasing part of his referred practice in past years has been the correction and restoration of shape in cases of poorly performed liposuction.

Breast Augmentation

• Dr Fox has performed trans-axillary breast augmentation for 20 years. The technique involves inserting the implants through an incision in a natural groove in the armpit, therefore leaving no scar on the breast itself.

Thread Lifting

• Thread Lifting of the face and neck is a relatively new, minimally invasive procedure in this country. It is a day procedure performed under sedation and local anaesthesia, taking approximately two hours.
• Dr Fox was one of three cosmetic surgeons to introduce the Stitch Lift technique to Australia in 2003 after being trained by the world pioneer of this technique, eminent Capetown plastic surgeon, Dr Des Fernandes.
• More recently Dr Fox became the first Australian doctor trained in the use of Contour Threads, by pioneer Prof Greg Ruff. Dr Fox then performed the first Contour Thread Lift in Australia and became the first Master Trainer of other surgeons in this country.

Hair Transplantation

• Dr Fox was an associate of the pioneer of Hair Transplant surgery in Australia, Dr Richard Shiell, and has participated in its development to the refined and natural looking mini-micro grafting of recent years. He has performed over 8000 hair transplant operations.

Laser Procedures

• Dr Fox was one of a small group to introduce laser technology into cosmetic surgery in Australia. This included procedures such as blepharoplasty (surgery for the removal of lower eyelid bags and upper eyelid skin excess), laser hair removal, and laser skin resurfacing.
