Dr Lee Brown MBBS (Hons) FRACS Plastic Surgeon

Dr Lee Brown was born in Devon in the United Kingdom. He relocated to Australia with his family at the age of ten, and subsequently completed his education in Queensland at Brisbane State High. He represented his school in many sports including the 1st XV from grade 10 to 12 and became Australian judo champion three years in a row.

Dr Brown graduated with honors from University of Queensland in 1988 completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). He spent seven years in hospital and general surgery training around Australia before commencing four years of plastic and reconstructive surgery training.

His extensive surgical training includes transplant surgery, microsurgery and two years at the Australian Craniofacial unit. In 1998 he was awarded a fellowship in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Plastic and Reconstructive surgery division(FRACS). He subsequently underwent a further postgraduate cosmetic fellowship, approved by the Australian Society of Plastic surgeons (ASPS).

Dr Brown established Coastal Plastic Surgery (CPS) on the Sunshine Coast 9 years ago. His current practice is co-located with the Kawana Private Hospital which he helped plan and develop. This has allowed seamless care for all patients of CPS ranging from beauty treatments to major cosmetic or reconstructive surgery. Dr Brown and his team are always onsite allowing a more personalised service and complete patient satisfaction with regards to privacy, safety, comfort and results.

Dr Brown is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the Australian Medical Association. He is also a corresponding member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His main areas of practice are cosmetic surgery and facial reconstruction following skin cancer excision.
