Dr Allan Kalus

As one of the most experienced plastic surgeons in Victoria, Mr. Allan Kalus has maintained a cosmetic surgery practice since 1981. He received his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 1972, following which he served a residency at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

He trained in plastic surgery in both Australia and the UK, including positions in such prestigious centres as St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London, the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, and in Edinburgh. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons as a Victoria practitioner and belongs to many other regional, national, and international medical societies.

Mr. Kalus served a four-year term as Honorary Secretary of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and was convener of the Scientific Program for the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Society in 1996 and 1997. He has represented the Society on the Joint Executive of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. Mr. Kalus has extensive experience as one of the premier plastic surgeons in Victoria, and is happy to answer all of your cosmetic surgery questions at our Melbourne Avenue Plastic Surgery office.
